Lagos—PAN-YORUBA socio-political organisation, Afenifere has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to either charge to court or set free former Minister of Aviation and Campaign Director of the Goodluck Jonathan Campaign, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode. Fani-Kayode is being docked by the anti-graft commission for alleged corruption. In a statement by Afenifere’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Yinka Odumakin, the group called for the “immediate release of Femi Fani-Kayode who will be clocking five weeks in EFCC cell on Wednesday.” The statement reads: “We are being told that EFCC is planning to get another detention order to continue his incarceration. We are at a loss as to why EFCC has failed to announce to the whole world that he committed a crime by collecting money for campaign and hold him for five weeks without charging him to court.”
