Portugal are through to the final of the
ongoing European Championships in France.
Thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani who
got a goal each in the semi-final to end
Wales’ adventure at the competition.
The three-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano
Ronaldo rose above the Welsh defense to
head home Portugal’s first goal in the 50th
minute.
Barely two minutes later, Nani connected to
Ronaldo’s low-drive into the area to make it
two, as Portugal won in 90 minutes since the
competition started in France.
Gareth Bale who was a shadow of himself
shows glimpses of his ability, but goalkeeper
Rui Patricio made superb saves to deny the
Real Madrid star.
Portugal will now wait for the winner of the
second semi-final between Germany and
France; a game many have tagged final

player on Thursday, July 7.
