Drake Breaks UK Singles Chart Record With One Dance Ft Wizkid & Kyla

Drake has achieved a notable feat by having the longest-running UK number one single since legal music downloads began counting towards chart positions.

The rapper topped the singles chart for an 11th straight week with One Dance, his collaboration with Wizkid and Kyla.

His continued dominance means he, not on-off girlfriend Rihanna, now holds the record for the longest-running chart-topper of the 21st Century.
Her 2007 song Umbrella was the last record to achieve a double-digit reign.

One Dance held off a midweek challenge from French producer Kungs, whose remix of Cookin' On Three Burners' 2009 track This Girl was at number two.

Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop the Feeling remained at number three, while Calvin Harris and Rihanna's This Is What You Came For was at four.
In a top five identical to last week's countdown, Drake and Rihanna remained at five with their collaboration Too Good.

Beyonce and Jay Z share rare tender moment in unseen backstage photos from Formation World Tour

They left fans speculating over the identity of ‘Becky with the good hair’ ever since the superstar released her latest album.

But regardless of who ‘Becky’ is, it’s clear there’s no longer trouble in paradise for power pair Jay Z and Beyonce.

The superstar has released a new set of pictures on her website which were taken behind the scenes on her Formation World Tour, and the pair look very much in love.

One black and white shot shows the smiling rapper hugging his wife affectionately from behind, while a second shows the laughing singer with an arm wrapped tightly around her husband's neck.
The singer soaked up the sun in a skimpy multi-coloured swimsuit and was also noticeably wearing a band of lemons in her hair.

Beyonce couldn't have looked happier as she showed off the head-wear while putting on a loved up display with her other half.

Showing off her famous curves and slim figure, the star stood out a mile off in the long-sleeved cut-out one-piece, as she stopped to take selfies and share a kiss with her other half.

Adding to her accessories, she also rocked a necklace of lemons - in case anyone missed them.

Sticking to the theme, Bey was later snapped donning a bright yellow kaftan for the stroll on the beach, keeping her hair naturally curly and wearing sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Jay opted for navy shorts and a striped t-shirt, keeping things casual to let his wife steal the limelight.

More photos, shared on the singer's own site, showed their adorable daughter Blue Ivy joining them and messing about with her dad for Father's Day.

Ali Family Spokesman Reveals Boxing Legend's Cause of Death

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali died of septic shock after spending five days at an Arizona hospital for what started out as respiratory problems and gradually worsened, succumbing only after his wife and children arrived at his bedside to say goodbye, a family spokesman said Saturday.
"It was a solemn moment," Bob Gunnell told reporters in Phoenix.
The details came as Ali's family revealed plans for a Friday funeral in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, a daylong affair that will include a procession through the streets where the 74-year-old world champion grew up and learned to box. His body is expected to be returned to the city within two days.

The service will include eulogies from former President Bill Clinton, journalist Bryant Gumbel and comedian Billy Crystal. He'll be buried in a local cemetery with only family watching.
In preparation, Louisville lowered flags in mourning on Saturday as it looked toward Ali's final homecoming.
Outside the Muhammad Ali Center, locals created an impromptu memorial, leaving flowers and written tributes.
A few blocks away at Louisville Metro Hall, Mayor Greg Fischer marveled at the many outsize roles Ali embodied: sports champion, civil rights icon, humanitarian and "interfaith pioneer."

"The 'Louisville Lip' spoke to everyone," Fischer said, referring to the dismissive nickname the press gave the boastful Ali early on his career. "But we heard him in a way no one else could, as our brother, our uncle and our inspiration."
Ali, who had suffered for more than three decades from Parkinson's disease, had survived several death scares in recent years, so when he was admitted Monday with breathing problems his family expected him to rebound, Gunnell said.
Then things turned serious, and it became clear that he wasn't going to improve.

His family traveled to his bedside, where they remained for about a day before Ali died at 9:10 p.m. local time on Friday. The official cause of death was "septic shock due to unspecified natural causes," Gunnell said.
Septic shock refers to an aggressive, full-body inflammatory response to an infection, and is common among the elderly and those with weak immune systems. The blood pressure plummets, leading to organ failure.
One of Ali's daughters, Hana Ali, recalled his final moments with family by his side, hugging and kissing him and holding his hands as they chanted Islamic prayers.
"We all tried to stay strong and whispered in his ear, 'You can go now. We will be okay,'" Hana Ali wrote on Twitter.

Even after many of his organs failed, his heart kept beating for 30 minutes, she wrote.

Ali grew up on Grand Avenue in a middle-class but segregated section of Jim Crow-era Louisville, and was inspired to box at 12 by a police officer who heard him ranting about someone who'd stolen his bicycle. The racism he absorbed there as a child influenced the political stands he made years later. But he remained continued to return to Louisville as his legend grew, and the city embraced him as a son.
At the Muhammad Ali Center on Saturday, CEO Donald E. Lassere read a statement from the institution, which said Ali "will be remembered for his love for all people, his athleticism, his humanitarian deeds, social justice and perhaps mostly his courage in and out of the ring."
Lassere added, "And I'm sure Muhammad would want me to say this as well: he would want to be remembered for how pretty he was."
Fischer asked his audience outside Metro Hall to imagine what it must have been like to witness Ali, born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. in 1942, as an infant — his long, remarkable life still ahead of him.
"Imagine that day, that little boy, eyes wide open, looking around the the room at the old Louisville General Hospital, not knowing the life that awaited him, the life he would make, the world he would shake up, and the people he would inspire," Fischer said. "And like you, I am absolutely one of those people."
The mayor added: "Muhammad Ali belongs to the world, but he only has one hometown."
To accentuate that point, Fischer pointed out some of the many honors and titles Ali accrued in his post-boxing career: Amnesty International lifetime achievement award, Presidential Medal of Freedom, Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Century, and co-founder, with his wife, Lonnie, of the Muhammad Ali Center, created to "promote respect, hope and understanding in Louisville and around the world."
Earlier on Saturday, a spokesman for Ban Ki-moon, secretary general of the United Nations, which named Ali a "messenger of peace" in 1998, called him "a world champion for equality and peace."
The spokesman recalled Ali first connecting with the U.N. in the 1970s to campaign against apartheid and racial injustice. Later, Ali traveled the world for the U.N. to support children's initiatives and racial and political reconciliation.
"The United Nations is grateful to have benefited from the life and work of one of the past century's great humanitarians and advocates for understanding and peace," the statement said.
Years before his death, Ali outlined to his family how he wanted it to be marked. Friday's funeral will follow those wishes, Gunnell said.
The event will begin with a morning procession through the city, passing locations that were "historically important to Muhammad,' his family said in a statement. That will include his old neighborhood, a street named after him, and spots on Broadway where many iconic photos were taken of him after he returned from the 1960 Rome Olympics with a gold medal, Gunnell said. As Ali wanted, the procession will move slowly to allow mourners to pay their respects, he said.
The funeral itself will be held at the KFC YUM! Center, a 22,000-capacity sports arena and will be open to the public. It will be led by an imam in the Muslim tradition, but it will also embrace elements of other religions, including a variety of clergy, Gunnell said.
"It's important for them to have a memorial service open to people of all walks of life," he said of Ali's family.

"THE GREATEST IS GONE"

"THE GREATEST IS GONE"

Muhammad Ali, 'The Greatest,' dies at 74

Muhammad Ali, the legendary boxer who proclaimed himself "The Greatest" and was among the most famous and beloved athletes on the planet, died Friday in Phoenix, a family spokesman said.

Ali had been at a hospital since Thursday with what spokesman Bob Gunnell had described as a respiratory issue.
"After a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease, Muhammad Ali has passed away at the age of 74. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer died this evening," Gunnell said in a statement. "The Ali family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support and asks for privacy at this time."
Ali's daughter Hana Ali said her father was the a "humble mountain."
"And now he has gone home to God. God bless you daddy. YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!" she tweeted.
A tweet on Ali's official page posted a photo of the boxer and said simply, "Muhammad Ali. 1942-2016."
Don King, the boxing promoter who was every bit as brash as Ali, told CNN that in his mind Ali will never die.
"His spirit will go on forever," he said. "He's just a great human being, a champion of the people, the greatest of all time."
Even as the former champ battled Parkinson's, he had the same love for life and people, King said.
"His spirit was solid as ever," King said. "He wasn't the man who'd take defeat. Defeat wasn't in his vocabulary."
The Ali sense of humor was displayed in an old photo tweeted by Oscar De La Hoya, who won titles in six weight classes.
"RIP @muhammadali, a legend who transcended sport and was a true champion for all. #thegreatest #MuhammadAli," De La Hoya wrote above an image of Ali whose mischievous eyes proudly watched as his right hand made rabbit ears behind the "Golden Boy's" head.

Hours before her famed father passed away, Laila Ali posted a throwback photo of Muhammad Ali with her daughter, Sydney, who was born in 2011.
"I love this photo of my father and my daughter Sydney when she was a baby! Thanks for all the love and well wishes. I feel your love and appreciate it!!" Laila Ali, herself a former world champion boxer, wrote.
George Foreman, who Ali defeated in 1974 for the world heavyweight title, wrote on Twitter, "It's been said it was rope a dope Ali beat me with. (N)o (it was) his beauty that beat me. Most beauty I've know(n). loved him."

‘Davido wanted to sell records, so he created a controversy’ Dele Momodu

  Davido

Even though Dele Momodu and Davido may have squashed their beef on social media. A lot still believe their is still bad blood betwen them as Davido is using his name in his music.
In one of his songs he said Dele Momodu si na chi. While in another he sang ‘ Dele na my boy, dele na my boy’

In a brief interview with Joy News, The Ovation boss, Dele Momodu aired his opinion on the Dele na my boy line
He said “Fans can misled people sometimes. Well that’s what most music artistes all over the world do. He is using it to sell his album. He wants to sell his records, so he had to create controversy, to make that happen

I don’t know why you are talking about it now, as far as i’m concerned, he is just selling his records, because I don’t think David will see me face to face and call me his boy. I’m his father.

I’m comfortable with that, I can’t fight my own child and we are also connected for life through that child (Imade).
He called me his boy, do I look like any body’s boy? No! So what are we not saying! ‎”
